9th Annual Human Rights Awards - People's Choice Contest

Join Global Exchange in honoring 2011 People's Choice Honoree, Javier Sicilia, along with International Honoree Pablo Solón and Domestic Honoree Wilma Subra at our annual Human Rights Award Gala. A People’s Choice Honoree Selection Committee, made up of Global Exchange staff, board members and selected Global Exchange allies, will meet after the closing of the nomination and voting period to review each nomination. Selection of the final honoree will be based on the following core criteria:

• The number of votes from the public each candidate receives;
• Evidence of contribution to human rights or justice related to each area of focus; and
• Demonstration that the People’s Choice honor will strengthen and advance the nominee’s efforts and work
